After breakfast, depart Tarangire and travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey takes you through changing landscapes, from the Tarangire woodland to the beautiful highlands surrounding Ngorongoro.
Continue to the Ngorongoro Crater for one of Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife experiences. Descend into the crater and explore its vast floor on a game drive.
The crater supports a remarkable concentration of wildlife. Look for lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and, with luck, the endangered black rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area before continuing your journey towards the Serengeti National Park.

Wake up early for one of the most exciting days of your safari—a full-day private exploration of Serengeti.
After breakfast, head into the plains with your experienced guide. The early morning is an excellent time for wildlife viewing as predators are active and the landscape is beautifully illuminated by the rising sun.
Explore different areas of Serengeti depending on wildlife movements. Search for the Big Five, including lions, leopards, elephants and buffalo, while also looking for cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas and numerous bird species.
During migration periods, your guide will focus on areas where the wildebeest and zebra herds are concentrated. Outside the migration season, Serengeti’s resident wildlife provides excellent game viewing throughout the year.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive. Your private guide can adjust the route and pace according to your interests, whether you prefer photography, predators, big herds or a relaxed safari experience.
