Your safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. Meet your professional guide and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees, beautiful landscapes and large elephant populations.
After entering the park, begin your game drive. Explore the Tarangire River and surrounding grasslands in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, impalas and numerous bird species.
With luck, you may also encounter lions and leopards.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.
Later, leave the park and continue to your ​hotel

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and travel towards the legendary Serengeti National Park.
Drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area before entering Serengeti.
Once inside the park, your journey becomes an en-route game drive. Watch the landscape transform into the vast grasslands for which Serengeti is famous.
Look for wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elephants, gazelles and buffalo, while your guide searches for predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas.
Arrive at your accommodation in Central Serengeti in the evening.

Today is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti.
Wake early for an exciting morning game drive when predators are often active. Explore the Seronera Valley and surrounding plains with your private guide.
Depending on the season and location of wildlife, you may encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebra, as well as lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo and giraffes.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive.
Return to camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Enjoy an early breakfast followed by a morning game drive as you begin your journey out of Serengeti.
Continue towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying wildlife viewing along the way.
Depending on your travel schedule, you may stop at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Ngorongoro landscape.
Arrive at your accommodation in the afternoon and enjoy time to relax and prepare for the following day’s crater experience.

After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.
Explore the crater floor, where wildlife is concentrated around grasslands, wetlands and lakes.
Look for lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and hyenas. With luck, you may also see the endangered black rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch before ascending the crater.
Continue towards Lake Manyara and arrive at your lodge in the afternoon.

Overnight: Suricata boma lodge

After breakfast, enter Lake Manyara National Park for your final game drive.
Explore the park’s diverse ecosystem, from groundwater forests and open plains to the lake shoreline.
Look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, baboons, monkeys and a wide variety of birds. Depending on the season, the lake can attract large numbers of flamingos and other waterbirds.
After your game drive, enjoy lunch before beginning your journey back to Arusha.
Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon, marking the end of your 6 Days Tanzania Classic Safari.
